As a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner of K E Bischoff, LLC my goal is to help patients believe they can be in control of their future.

I work with children, adolescents and adults offering a wide ranges of mental health services. I most often utilize a cognitive behavioral approach in treatment which allows me to work most successfully with a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. I also employ other theoretical approaches and interventions as needed to include client-centered, trauma focused and solution focused brief therapy. Every patient is unique; thus, I work with each individual to create a treatment plan specifically tailored to their challenges and their ultimate goals. No matter the patient, therapy is a collaborative process and it is my goal to be by your side as you achieve the best version of yourself.

As a result of my experience working in multiple settings to include outpatient, inpatient and correctional facilities, I have had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life. I bring a unique ability to meet patients where they are in their journey and guide them to where they want to be. In addition to my work in private practice, I also currently work with US Military Veterans completing disability evaluations ordered by the Veterans Benefits Administration. I previously enjoyed working with at-risk youth as a contractor for the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and served as an Adjunct Professor at The Citadel teaching both undergraduate and graduate students.

Personally, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends and perhaps above all else having fun with my dog Gus enjoys an occasional visit to the office.
